Opaque Truths
How truthful are brands to the public about the fabrication of their clothes?

Concept

Opaque Truths showcases The Wearfair Score, a visual rating system (A–E) that reveals a brand’s sustainability, considering environmental impact, labor rights, transparency, and circularity.
Inspired by the Fashion Transparency Index, the project highlights the hidden costs behind clothing—exploited labor, environmental damage, and opaque supply chains.

Fashion reflects personal values, social stereotypes, and industry influence. Fast fashion dominates because it’s convenient and affordable, yet most consumers are unaware of its ethical and environmental consequences.

This project exposes the hidden costs behind clothing and empowers conscious consumer choices.

Role: Research, conceptualization, art direction and production.

Project: Hacking the system. Finding the glitch in an already existing system.

In collaboration with Anastasia Boura, Beata Lastovko and Selenay Aksel.
